Hair dryer holders are kept in the bathroom to hold hair dryer

Hair Dryer Holders

Hair dryer holders are important gadgets that every bathroom should have. It is extremely risky to leave the hair dryers on the sink. Sometimes when you are using it, you might want to put it down and do something with your hands. The place you put it could be wet hence causing short circuiting of the dryer that in turn can be injurious to the user. If the hair dryer holder was not included while purchasing, you can easily make one for yourself that would let it hang neatly and still out of the way to cause injury.

1. Observe your hair dryer critically. Note the part that can best be used to hold the dryer on the wall. This will be determined by the model you are using. Some have the handle and others the blower as the best part that can be used to hold the blower in position best. Take the measurements and take them down.

2. Take the measurements to a local store and seek assistance from the attendant to find a suitable spring clip. Insist on it being insulated to avoid electrocution risks.

3. Find a stud on the wall that you will mount the spring on. You can use a long nail or a stud finder. Alternatively, you can nail a piece of wood on the position that you decide to mount your hair dryer holder. Lay the spring clip against the wall and mark the screw holes on the wood that you have already nailed on the wall. Use a pencil to mark the position of the screw holes. Remember to position the holder at a position that is easily reachable and yet out of the way. For instance, the hair dryer holder should not be in a proximity that water can get onto it. It should also be close enough to a switch so that you can hang it on the holder while it's still running.

4. Rivet the spring on the stud using the included screws. They should be two inches and over so that they can provide enough strength to hold the weight and the force generated as you take and replace the dryer.

5. Open your hair dryer and hang the dryer. It should tightly and neatly fit in the hair dryer holder you have just made. This even helps to make the bathroom smart. It also increase the length of the dryer since it stands a low chance of getting into water.
